--- E3 Media ---

Here's just a quick image dump of our stills.  We got a ton of video, which we'll sort through as soon as we can.  Expect some videos up on Saturday night.

To start, here are some pix of the outside of the LA Convention Center.
Just inside, the stairs are painted up to be cool.  Sony's ads this year are very nice (last year's sucked).
Here's Turok (obviously on a budget) on the south hall stairs.
This is the South Entrance.
Here's Bruce, next to the 1 hour wait sign for Nintendo's crappy clusterfuck.  This is about 2 minutes into Day 1.
Here's Leon and SEGA's new Sonic wannabe, Silver.
This is an eagle's-eye view of Sony's booth.
And another...
And another
Here's Atlus' booth (picked at random from what we grabbed)
Here's Capcom's booth.
And here's Bruce, across from Square's booth.  There's a great story involved here, we'll tell it later on.
This is Gamespot's booth, as seen from Sony's.  On the left, you can see the corner of Nintendo's, which is the
largest at the show.  Just there is the 2nd corner of the line to get in.
This is the sensor that powers the Wii motion detection.  The sign says "place it on top of or underneath your TV"
Here are some of the attachments--the nunchuck, the classic, and the zapper.
This is a shot of demo #1, the Obstacle Course.  We'll have the video up soon.
Here's Tennis.
The Playstation 3.  It's quite a monster, slightly bigger (and much heavier) than the original Xbox.
The PSP download station.  I downloaded Loco Roco.
The PSP's and DS's on the show floor were running on monitors.  We want TV-out for consumers!!  Now!
The DS TV-Out.
Downstairs in Kentia Hall, we stumbled into some indie games, although most of that area was for distributors and other unwanted crap.
However, here's a real gem:  a program that looks about 100 times better than 3D Studio Max or Maya, for $200!
This piece of software made me pee my pants on the spot.  After cleaning up, I bought it.
Dick Queen!
Our Dream Girls, the Frag Dolls.  We were afraid to go in, they might have kicked our asses at Quake or something.
Game Taiwan--be on the lookout for videos of this incredible foreign game studio!  We were seriously impressed.
Um.
Link and Zelda.  Zelda quietly informed us that "Link isn't supposed to talk".  GODDAMN RIGHT!!!
That's "Sir Link" to you.
Here's another celebrity we spotted: Optimus Prime.  Apparently, his head has been re-attached.
Stan Lee, Father of Cool.  (or at least Geek Cool)
E3 is loaded with awesome banners like this one.
In the Indie section, we discovered a girl who was very impressed with VR (that's so last decade).  I like the silver jumpsuit on the "programmer", though.
WTF.
